Chesterfield Township Emergency Alert System:
Sign up to receive emergency alerts, severe weather warnings and other public safety notifications that could directly impact you and your family!
The Chesterfield Township Police Department is committed to improving methods of communication and public information to residents. Recently, Chesterfield Police embarked on a mission to identify and employ an emergency alert system to broadcast real-time Police information via text message, email, or voice mail. After much research and deliberation Chesterfield Police settled on the CivicReady Alert system (provided by AlertSense).
The system is intended to be used for emergency alerts as well as non-emergency incidents which may have significant impacts to residents. Emergency Alerts could be related to specific hazards which require some kind of action be taken such as evacuation, shelter in place, boil water orders, etc. Non-emergency alerts could include significant transportation problems with prolonged impacts or significant ongoing police or fire activity. This list is not meant to be all inclusive and demonstrates that this system will not be used for routine information.
Enrollment is simple! Click the link below and follow the prompts to provide your information and preferred method(s) of contact.
