Body Worn Camera (BWC)
CTPD has officially implemented the use of a Body Worn Camera (BWC) to all uniformed officers. Officers will be equipped with the Motorola V300. The BWC will complement the in-car camera that the department has been using for several years.
Officers will be seen wearing the camera on the front of their uniform. Officers will utilize the camera in accordance with the New Jersey Attorney General Directive regarding BWCs.
